Under the umbrella of The Street Collective, Forrest Walker and Dmitry Stepanenko will offer a 3-days-street-photography-workshop in London in March 2017.
The workshop's focus is on colour and it's role in modern street photography. The workshop will start with the portfolio reviews of student's best work followed by an interactive lecture on colour photography. The participants will be shown examples of different types of colour street photographs with an emphasis on various artistic approaches used to create visually pleasing and compositionally strong images. Students are expected to take an active part in several activities aimed at enhancing their vision and broadening the artistic experiences. The workshop will finish with students getting the constructive feedback and critique by the mentors on the photographs taken during the workshop.

A slideshow/projection of our new collective edit "What's next?" will be shown for 3 days during the premiere of Brussels Street Photography Festival, which takes place from Oct. 28th to 30th. Six of our collective's members will attend the festival in Brussels and Vineet Vohra will conduct a workshop, together with his brother Rohit, about "The art of storytelling".
Thursday Aug. 25th was the opening night of our current exhibition in Borås/Sweden followed by a photowalk in Gothenburg two days later. The show in Abecita Konstmuseum has 100 big size prints on display. It will be open for public until end of November 2016.
Now that the 32-piece-travelling-version of the „Via!“-exhibition has been hosted at Goethe Institute in Palermo, in an ancient palazzo in Venice and in a castle in La Spezia, it will soon be shown in a deconsecrated chapel in the Tuscan coastal city Livorno. The place is called „Cappella Scafurno“ and opening will be on July 31st at 7pm (until Aug. 21nd). Facebook event.
Vineet Vohra will be coming to New York City in late September for a 3day-street-photography-workshop. The workshop "Gestalt Vision and the Art of Seeing" will take place from 23-25 September 2016. Places are limited and there will be an early bird discount.

August 25th will be the opening night of The Street Collective's first major exhibition in Abecita Konstmuseum in Borås/Sweden. The show will run until Nov. 12th and there wiil be about 100 big size prints on display - plus a few shots from the public-project-winners. Most of the collective’s members will be in Sweden for the opening weekend and there will be a photowalk in Gothenburg on Aug. 27th (more info coming soon).
Recently Mats Alfredsson released his new photobook "Chicago Streetwork". The high quality coffee table book (Size: 280x360 mm, 150 pages) features his street photography from Chicago. It can be purchased here.
Dmitry Stepanenko has been shortlisted as a finalist for the last round of judging at the "Travel Photographer of the Year"-contest 2015 in the category "A Moment In Light". Winners will be exhibited at the Royal Geographic Society in London next year. More info here.

Art Basel Miami is one of the world's premier art scenes, where hundreds of thousands gather each year in Miami to celebrate the visual arts.
